Here the analysis is focused on the cello perceived sound volume in the three sets. The reported results are averaged on the four strings and divided in the three different styles: ‘staccato’, ‘sustained’ and ‘Bach’.
With respect to the TPA (standard wooden tailpiece or branded plastic cord tensioners Acustikus), there is a volume improvement in terms of loudness RMS in both LIV_T and LIV_S (Lambdaquarti) configurations.
In the TPA setup, the average volume is -70,0 dB(A), while in LIV_T and LIV_S ones, the respective volumes are -64,6 dB(A) and -64,3 dB(A) that means an improvement of 5,55 dB(A) (notice that a gain of 3 dB(A) means that the overall perceived volume is DOUBLED).
Qui l'analisi si concentra sul volume sonoro percepito dal violoncello nei tre set. I risultati riportati sono mediati sulle quattro corde e suddivisi nei tre diversi stili: "staccato", "sostenuto" e "Bach".Rispetto al TPA (cordiera standard in legno o tendicordiera in plastica di marca Acustikus), si registra un miglioramento del volume in termini di loudness RMS in entrambe le configurazioni LIV_T e LIV_S (Lambdaquarti). Nella configurazione TPA, il volume medio è di -70,0 dB(A), mentre in quelle LIV_T e LIV_S i rispettivi volumi sono di -64,6 dB(A) e -64,3 dB(A), il che significa un miglioramento di 5,55 dB(A) (si noti che un guadagno di 3 dB(A) significa che il volume complessivo percepito è DOPPIO).

The difference is in the much greater resonance of each sound, in the elasticity and power of all strings; especially the timbre of the second string is closer to the timbre of the first string and the timbre of the four strings is similar, much more than with the normal tailpiece. I've been using the LAMBDAQUARTI tailpiece for four months. Whilst on the one hand the sound of my cello has acquired a much greater volume, the most valuable effect of this new sound is that the resonance, which has become softer and more elastic, allows greater musical creativity in the performance of the details and nuances of timbre.

The biggest difference with the LAMBDAQUARTI Resonator is that I have a richer tone, more responsive strings, and my wolf tone is very very minimal! The variety of sound colors is immense compared to my last tailpiece. One adjective to describe the LambdaQuarti Resonator is amazing!
